Important Information from the NSWDPI
You can protect horses and livestock. Ensure hay from Queensland isn't brought into NSW.
Animals exposed to parthenium weed can develop mouth ulcers, sores and rashes.
More than 60 million hectares of Queensland is infested with parthenium weed.
It’s an offence to bring parthenium weed and seeds into NSW. Don’t risk it in your hay.
